Supersaturation for hereditary properties

چکیده

Let F be a collection of r-uniform hypergraphs, and let 0 < p < 1. It is known that there exists c = c(p,F) such that the probability of a random r-graph in G(n, p) not containing an induced subgraph from F is 2(−c+o(1))( n r). Let each r-graph in F have at least t vertices. We show that in fact for every > 0, there exists δ = δ( , p,F) > 0 such that the probability of a random r-graph in G(n, p) containing less than δn induced subgraphs each lying in F is at most 2(−c+ )( n r). This statement is an analogue for hereditary properties of the supersaturation theorem of Erdős and Simonovits. In our applications we answer a question of Bollobás and Nikiforov.

Ideal Amenability of Banach Algebras and Some Hereditary Properties

Let A be a Banach algebra. A is called ideally amenable if for every closed ideal I of A, the first cohomology group of A with coefficients in I* is trivial. We investigate the closed ideals I for which H1 (A,I* )={0}, whenever A is weakly amenable or a biflat Banach algebra. Also we give some hereditary properties of ideal amenability.

Structure and Enumeration Theorems for Hereditary Properties in Finite Relational Languages

Given a finite relational language L, a hereditary L-property is a class of finite Lstructures which is closed under isomorphism and model theoretic substructure. This notion encompasses many objects of study in extremal combinatorics, including (but not limited to) hereditary properties of graphs, hypergraphs, and oriented graphs. In this paper, we generalize certain definitions, tools, and re...

Hereditary properties of amenability modulo an ideal of Banach algebras

In this paper we investigate some hereditary properties of amenability modulo an ideal of Banach algebras. We show that if $(e_alpha)_alpha$ is a bounded approximate identity modulo I of a Banach algebra A and X is a neo-unital modulo I, then $(e_alpha)_alpha$ is a bounded approximate identity for X. Moreover we show that amenability modulo an ideal of a Banach algebra A can be only considered ...

Influence of Batch Cooling Crystallization on Mannitol Physical Properties and Drug Dispersion from Dry Powder Inhalers

This study provides, for the first time, an evaluation of the physicochemical properties of batch cooling crystallized mannitol particles combined with how these properties correlated with the inhalation performance from a dry powder inhaler (Aerolizer). The results showed that the type of polymorph changed from β-form (commercial mannitol) to mixtures of β+ δ-mannitol (cooling crystallized man...

Gorenstein hereditary rings with respect to a semidualizing module

‎Let $C$ be a semidualizing module‎. ‎We first investigate the properties of‎ ‎finitely generated $G_C$-projective modules‎. ‎Then‎, ‎relative to $C$‎, ‎we introduce and study the rings over which‎ ‎every submodule of a projective (flat) module is $G_C$-projective (flat)‎, ‎which we call $C$-Gorenstein (semi)hereditary rings‎. ‎It is proved that every $C$-Gorenstein hereditary ring is both cohe...
